For anyone who is new to meditation the Oprah and Deepak series is a great place to start. At 20 minutes per session you can fit this into your day either first thing in the morning or in the evening (I do mine in the afternoon when my bub is sleeping recharging me for the rest of the day!). Miss a day? Not a problem as each meditation is held for up to 5 days after so you have time to catch up. Deepak guides the meditation at the beginning and starts with a centering thought and mantra. These are great to focus on when your mind starts to wander.
To make your experience as lovely as possible dedicate a specific time in your day that you know you won't be looking at the clock, find a comfortable place and wear comfortable clothing. This way you can sit back, listen and enjoy the experience. The only thing you need is an open heart and mind and computer/mobile in which to listen to the recordings.
